Visual Arts, Beadwork, Jewelry, Traditional Practices

Delaney Prysnuk and Montana Prysnuk are a Vuntut Gwich’in/Ukrainian/Scandinavian sister duo from the Yukon.

Montana and Delaney have been in love with arts and crafts since they were small children. Their family and friends taught them the importance of the land and animals, and the many ways they can be utilized and respected.

Currently living just south of Whitehorse, they create an assortment of jewelry, artwork, and beadwork. Their main materials used include caribou antler, copper, beads, assorted hides (both home-tan and factory-tan), porcupine quills and sinew. Each piece is created with their hearts and souls.

“Mahsi cho for letting us share our art with you!” – Delaney and Montana Prysnuk
