Binet House Interpretive Centre

Mayo

Operated by the Village of Mayo, the centre houses a collection of historical photographs, artifacts, hand crafted art, crafts and traditional clothing of the Nacho Nyäk Dun First Nation. Their extensive interpretive information also includes a geology display, with sections on permafrost, bedrock geology, glacial history, hard rock and placer mining as well as a 3D map of the region.

The Binet House has visitor information services and a small gift shop that features local arts and crafts.

The Yukon First Nations Culture and Tourism Association (YFNCT) is a non-profit, stakeholder-based organization that is committed to growing and promoting vibrant and sustainable arts/culture and tourism sectors.
