Da Kų Nän Ts’étthèt Dance Festival

/ Haines Junction

This free family event offers dance performances by groups from across the north, with workshops, an artisan market and daily feasts. The Dá Kų̀ Cultural Centre will also unveil a new exhibit on the 31 years of the Dakwäkäda Dancers.

The Da Kų Nän Ts’étthèt Dance Festival is your chance to explore traditions, old and new, taking place from June 23 to 25, 2023 at the Dá Kų̀ Cultural Centre in Haines Junction.

The Da Kų Nän Ts’étthèt Dance Festival began in 2013 as a grand opening celebration for Dá Kų̀ Cultural Centre. After that first year, it became a priority to Chief and Council to continue to celebrate their heritage by practicing and sharing their songs and dances. For more details, visit
