This museum offers a world-class wildlife exhibit with dioramas depicting natural habitat, interpretive displays featuring Aboriginal clothing, tools and weapons of the Southern Tutchone people, as well as minerals and gemstones that are found in the Yukon.

The gift shop has many locally made crafts, including beaded, fur-trimmed moccasins and a great selection of books about the North. Their pull-through parking lot can accommodate large vehicles and RV’s. Watch for the World's Largest Gold Pan located next to the museum.
